Elektra was born in 1978 with a marked technical vocation in the electricity sector. Its early activity began in San Sebastián (Gipuzkoa), in small industrial premises, from where Elektra began distributing electrical material with added value.
The company heads decided that one of the strategic objectives was to increase its market, and they therefore launched an expansion policy still in place today as one of the keys to Elektra’s success.
The company’s most recent history has made it possible to consolidate its technological and enterprising spirit, until becoming a mature company that collaborates technologically with its clients and strives to become more competitive by the day.
Service quality constitutes a basic policy at Elektra, as can be seen from the quality management system in compliance with ISO standards which has been underway at the company since 1998.
Since that year, Elektra has never faltered in its determination to maintain quality as its priority objective in all of its work centres and in all of its activities. With this vision, it has achieved recognition by means of the company registry certificate, which also applies to its activity of selling electrical appliances.
